Prayer of Isaiah the Prophet
Isaiah grew up in the household of kings. He faithfully served his nation, and set an example of proclaiming both conviction and comfort to the his nation. Consider the following prayer as converted from his writings for your life: Father, thank You for Your Spirit upon Your Servant Jesus, and for anointing Jesus Himself with a purpose: to preach good tidings, to bind the brokenhearted, to proclaim true liberty, and to let the oppressed, the bound, go free. Also, for loving us so that You would have Jesus proclaim Your timing by anointing Him, and signaling His Second Coming!, and to comfort all that morn that we in our sin might exchange beauty for ashes, oil and praise for heaviness, and take on His righteousness that You might be glorified. Lord God, build us Your Church up, for Your glory. Restore the desolations and wastelands within and around us. Thank You for planting us back Home, in Your Presence. Thank You for the whole Body of Christ, those we dont know that serve You to build Your Kingdom. We are humbled to be called royal and Priests Your Ministers, and by those around us! We are truly blessed and fortunate that You have purposed us to transform the land. And when we are persecuted or shamed and confused, You turn it to joy and honor to be in Your Service. Father, You love judgment righteous and just decisions and actions. Direct our work in Your Church in truth, and we thank Thee for Your everlasting covenant through Christ Jesus Your servant our dependable example, our lead, You have stated that our legacy of service, of seed planting where You have us, will stand. Be glorified, Father. I will greatly rejoice in You, O Lord, unto the depths of my soul. Thank You for clothing me with Your salvation, and with the righteousness of Christ, that I might be continually in Your Presence. I pray as You spoke, that You would cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations through Your Church, Your People. May this humble prayer and Your leadership among Your Church to the nations bring honor and glory to Your Kingdom, through our Savior, Your Servant, Jesus Christ. Amen.
