Warrior Mindset
God does not think like we think. In fact, that statement alone is inaccurate. We don't think like God thinks! How easy it is to be self-centric. Although that's our origin, in Christ, we have a second heritage, the mind of Christ. This is not to imply that Christ has a mindset bent toward destruction and damnation through war. Rather! a disciplined Spirit and disciplined mind, compassionate, to the point of fulfilling His purpose. Then, and now. In this regard, it's important in our walk with God to put off our old mindset and put on Christ's mind. We do this under the leadership of the Holy Spirit. So just how does God think? As our creator, God desires peace with us, not war. He desires to reveal Himself to us, He desires our fellowship, because as creator, He loves us. He does not want to be separated from us. So by providing His own Son to take on our sins, fellowship is restored. As we grow in alignment with Him under the mentorship of His Holy Spirit, we begin to take on the mind of Christ. A mind of strength, a dominent mindset, yet aligned with God, not out on our own limb.
