Christian Evangelism

Evangelism is more than an offensive element of Christianity and should be addressed and presented truthfully, in the proper setting. What it is is the proactive, engaged sharing of the love of God, not hate, using His own plan for eternal salvation and living with Him eternally in a relationship established by Him, His way. This is far different from the proselytizing days of the Crusades of European kings, or even modern day engagements of war in the name of religion, resulting in the destruction of life and property.

Instead, the intent is one of enablement! Providing another the right information so another can make an informed decision to follow Christ. God's way, as Christ came that the world might be reconciled to God through Him. Saved from an eternity without God.

So as Christians, ones belonging to Christ (bought with a price), we have the distinct responsibility in this world, starting right where we are, to encourage, uplift, edify, build up, and yes - evangelize. But His way. His design and desire - away from sin and the resulting bondages of those displeasing habit patterns.

We have a story to tell! and alimited time to tell it. So what and how do we tell this story of ours?

1. Attutude! Our mindset and motives need to align and come from our walk.
