What is the Roman Road?

The Roman Road outlines Bible verses from the book of Romans that explain the steps of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by subject – from God’s perspective. Take a look!

All have sinned. Romans 3.23: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Sin’s penalty. Romans 6.23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Christ already paid. Romans 5.8: But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Call out and be saved (rescued). Romans 10.13: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Believe in your heart. Romans 10.9 and 10: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Let’s highlight these verses in our Bible – at least the reference. Some people will “yellow highlight” the entire verse. Others like to color the verse numbers with a red pencil. Whatevers works, works!
